Active holiday in the Passiria Valley

Here you get everything you need for an active holiday in the Passiria Valley.

Swimming pools
In addition to the hotel swimming pools, the Passiria Valley also offers two public adventure outdoor pools. San Martino and San Leonardo offer a lot of bathing fun during the entire summer.

Tennis

It's 30:30 and the tension on the tennis court can clearly be felt… The Passiria Valley offers plenty of possibilities for such excitement. Approx. 20 sand courts and two indoor courts with fleece mats are at your disposal. So what are you waiting for: game, set and match...

Fishing

In order to be allowed to fish in the Passiria Valley you have to be in possession of the Italian fishing licence, which can be obtained from the Tourism Association. All you need then is a day ticket, and you are eligible for fishing in the Passiria River from Quellenhof to San Leonardo. You can also fish in the Plan river, in the Seeber and Monteneve lakes, and in the Timmelser Lake.

Rafting
Rafting on the Passiria Valley will make you feel like in a Huckleberry film. You can choose from medium to more difficult rides and are always accompanied by experienced guides.
Small rafting friends can enjoy an easy river ride on the Adige River, which is not dangerous and really cool anyway.

Kayak
The Passiria Valley offers kayak courses. It is not recommended to challenge the river without having taken a course. However, after some exercise kayaking is really fun!

Paragliding
You do not need any special knowledge or skills in order to enjoy a tandem flight above the Passiria Valley. Fly over vast meadows, forests and villages and feel as free as a bird. This will definitely be an unforgettable adventure!

Golf
The golf sport has long reached international levels in the Passiria Valley. Thanks to the mild climate golfing is possible almost all year. Guaranteed a highlight, and not only for advanced players. The Passiria-Merano Golf School offers golf courses, teaches beginners and advanced golfers, and also draws up individual training programmes. In the Club House you can celebrate over a successful game and enjoy the rest of the day. The Club House is also known for its exquisite cuisine.

Climbing
Climbing has become a very popular sport over the last few years. Concentration, discipline and success are the main features of climbing. Passiria offers several climbing gardens and climbing walls.
In Alta Passiria you find 4 climbing gardens with a total of 61 secured ropes with all levels of difficulty.

Nordic Walking
Nordic walking is really fun if a group participates, it is easy on your joints and still burns a lot of calories. Once you have learnt this special way of walking and how to hold the poles, nothing will be able to stop you on your way through fields and forests or along the Passiria River.

Cycling and Mountain-biking
The Passiria Valley is the right place for all those who like two wheels. The Passiria cycling route is well cared for and sign-posted. It is close to nature and mainly consists of gravel and chippings roads. On the entire cycling path you are accompanied by the Passiria River, the river of the Passiria Valley.
The cycling path does not lead through the villages in the Passiria Valley, they can however be easily reached.
Mountain-bikers won't miss out on anything in the Passiria Valley either: be it up to the Rombo Pass or to various alpine pastures or to the Hirzer plateau, it's definitely worth the effort.

Horse-riding – Horse-drawn sleighs
the happiness of the world lies on the back of horses…yes it's true: And even better if it is in the Passiria Valley. Here you can take riding lessons, enjoy long excursions through forests and meadows, or enjoy a romantic outing through the snowed-in winter landscape on a horse-drawn sleigh
