Hiking proposals San Martino

Round path of Vallone Montaccio
Leaving from the town hall in San Martino you follow the Feldbauernweg path. Via the Feldbauerntal Valley to Außer Aichhof to Krusterhof and to Valtelehof. Follow the Vallone Mataccio road with sign-post no. 3. Hike past the Jaufenblick guesthouse, and the Flonerhof and Altlechen farm houses. Follow the Garberweg path to San Martino.

Walking time:      approx. 4.5 hours 


San Martino – Prantageo – San Martino
After the playground in San Martino turn left into Via Prantago and follow this road to the Holzerhof farm.  From here to the Haselstaude guesthouse downwards and along the Passirio River back to San Martino.

Walking time:      approx. 1 hour 

Saltusio – Rifiano
In Saltusio cross the road at the car park of the Hirzer cable cars and ascend the Riederberg road to the Ebnerhof farm house. From here continue to the farm "Außer Hochegger" and then follow the Rösslsteig path to Rifiano - Caines. Return by bus or along the Passirio River.

Walking time:      approx. 3 hours 

San Martino – Sant'Orsola – Saltusio
After the playground in San Martino turn left onto Via Prantago.  At the height of the Passerblick Guesthouse turn right and follow the road until reaching Bucherkeller. From Bucherkeller follow path no. 5 to Mora. From the Mörre Guesthouse to the Ausserstauden Guesthouse and from there downwards to Sant'Orsola and on to Saltusio.
