In San Leonardo in Passiria at the Sandhof, the home of the Tyrolean freedom fighter Andreas Hofer who lived from 1767 to 1810, you'll find the Museum Passiria.

In the museum you can watch an animated documentary, where Andreas Hofer and the Tyrolean rebellion of 1809 are shown. The film is broadcasted in the former stables of the farmer building at the Sandhof.

The museum further hosts a collection of folklore from the Passiria Valley, where you can admire traditional costumes, customs and handcrafts from Passiria. Furthermore, you can find folk tales, legends and music from the valley, as well as the Sacred Heart of Jesus Chapel and the Heilig Grab (Holy Grave) Church.
