Touriseum Merano & Castle Trauttmansdorff

The highlight of South Tyrol are definitely the botanic gardens at Trauttmansdorff Castle, and a must for all nature lovers. Here you'll find palm trees, cactuses and exotic fruits or orchids, but also a lake with many koi carps and numerous types of birds.

Enthroned in the middle of the gardens at Trauttmansdorff Castle you can visit the castle itself, which hosts the "Touriseum", a museum for tourism. The museum recalls 200 years of the moved Tyrolean tourism history.
